Boundless (Part Three)

How much real consideration have you given to a “boundless” life?

John 3:34 – For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God – proclaims God’s message – God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is the gift God makes of His Spirit!  (Amplified Bible)

Read our Text for Today once more, and then take a moment to really consider what the phrase “the gift of Holy Spirit in boundless measure.”  Consider for a moment the power of that statement.  What would it mean to your life to have Holy Spirit manifest in boundless measure to you?  What would it mean to you spiritually as it regards things like revelation knowledge, the anointing(s) in which you walk, your prayer life, and the way others perceive you as a child of God?  What would it mean to you in the soulish realm (mind, will, intellect, & emotions)?  How sharp would your mind be, how strong and pure would your will be?  How deep would be your intellectual abilities?  How focused and controlled would be your emotions?  Consider all this in the light of a mind truly renewed in the Word of God.  What would it mean to you physically regarding health, strength, longevity, and ability for service in the kingdom?  And all these questions do not yet deal with matters of personal finance, your ability to “always abound in every good work,” to your ability to minister to others, to your protection from all temporal evil, and your super-natural ability to have complete provision of all things at all times.  What a supernatural life that would be!  Yet when you stop to consider it, that is precisely the kind of life Jesus lived.

God’s Word is true.  Our Text for Today originally referred to Jesus, when He was the “only begotten Son of God.”  Well today that verse still refers to Jesus, but He is no longer the “only begotten Son of God.”  Today He is the “first begotten from the dead,” “the first born among many brethren,” “the Head of the Body” of which we are individual members, the “King of kings and Lord of lords” to Whom we are joint-heirs.  The New Covenant has taken us into a realm which no one but Jesus could enter before His resurrection.  Now it is available to “whosoever will.”  You and I are “whosoevers.”  Let us determine to step up and live up to that which has been presented to us as sons and daughters of Almighty God.
