Oh the Love of the Father!

Think about what Father does for the sake of love; because HE IS LOVE!

John 5:20 – For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

John 5:19 speaks clearly to the truth that Jesus ONLY did what He saw (in the realm of the Spirit) His Father do.  Now read our Text for Today once again.  What a powerful statement!  Because Father God loves His Son, He showed His Son His perfect will by revealing ALL He (the Father) would do.  That being truthfully and absolutely stated and settled, I ask you the following; in relationship to Father through Jesus, who are you?  For the sake of our discussion, allow me to answer it.  You are a child of God, an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.  The glory Father God gave Jesus, Jesus has given you.  The ability and authority (dunamis & exousia) Father God gave Jesus, Jesus has given you.  The ability and authority (dunamis & exousia) Jesus took back when He conquered Satan, Jesus has given you.  And because you belong (spirit, soul, & body) to the Lord, because you have been redeemed, because you have received His glory, power, dominion, and all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of the Lord Jesus, you can with full legitimacy apply our Text for Today to your own life.  You see, through Jesus, you are NOW a son of God.  What Jesus had in His earthly ministry and even now has NOTbeen divided among His people, for you are a joint-heir.  Whatever Jesus had, you have now.

So let’s read our Text for Today, and as we do, let us personalize it.  “For the Father loves the son (that’s me), and shows him (the son – that’s me) all things the Himself does.”  Once again, this is a marvelously powerful statement that we can, as believers, as Christians, as heirs of God and join-heirs with Christ, as His ambassadors, apply fully to ourselves.  Now we have NO EXCUSE for NOT knowing what is the mind of the Father as it relates to His will for performance through our lives.  FATHER WANTS YOU TO KNOW PRECISELY WHAT TO DO, WHEN TO DO IT, WHERE TO DO IT, AND HOW TO DO IT SO YOUR ACTIONS PRODUCE SUPERNATURAL RESULT (FRUIT) AND BRING GLORY TO THE FATHER!  I write these words in bold, capital letters, for I long for you to hear them shouted into your spiritual ears.  IT IS TIME, BODY OF CHRIST, FOR THE CHURCH TO RISE UP AND BE THE CHURCH.  IT IS TIME FOR THE CHURCH TO HAVE THE WORDS OF THE SONG FULFILLED IN OUR LIVES, “LET THE CHURCH BE THE CHURCH, LET THE PEOPLE REJOICE; WE’VE SETTLED THE QUESTION, WE’VE MADE OUR CHOICE!”   I CHOOSE TO BE WHO FATHER MADE ME TO BE . . . HIS SON!
