Ephesians 3:19 – And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Oh, what a wonderful and joyous place it is to which we come in today’s study. Look closely at the second portion of our Text for Today. This journey we’ve taken for the past seven days has led us to this ultimate place in Christ that is truly the pinnacle of our growing up into Jesus. This is truly the epitome of growth in Christ, and it is the place to which our heavenly Father desires all His children to attain. However, it is NOT a place to which one comes simply by birthright or its universal availability to all God’s children. To attain to this place of growth in Christ, my dear friend, demands spiritual work, and a work ethic in that labor that never ceases while one breathes the air of this life.
Take a moment to read again, perhaps several more times, the point of arrival to which Father desires to see us come. Read these explosively powerful words of destination; “that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Read it aloud. If you are in a place where you can, shout it aloud. This, my dear reader, is the ultimate place in Christ to which Father longs to see every child of His attain. Read it to yourself aloud again. Father desires you to be “FILLED…WITH…ALL…THE…FULNESS…OF…GOD.”
Do you see it? How much more clearly could Father’s will for you be expressed. Never forget the importance of His Word; of reading it, studying it, meditating upon it, memorizing it, learning it by heart, and speaking it over every situation you face in life. Never forget the importance of prayer that is anchored completely in the Word of God. But in all that, please, Please, PLEASE never lose focus on Father’s ultimate desire for you to do these things to grow in Christ. He wants you to “be filled with all the fulness of God.” And my friend, when you are “filled with all the fulness of God,” there will be no room in you for anything but God, and it is at that point that you step into a realm of the supernatural power of God that will never be known to you otherwise.
Oh, how I pray that you read, give heed to, and comprehend fully what I am writing to you today. It could truly be one of the most critical turning points in your life, and indeed, in your eternity. Imagine for a few moments, being in a place in Christ where the love of Christ, that power by which faith must operate, where faith’s operation is at its peak because all that is flowing from you is from the fulness of God that is living in you. Welcome to heaven on earth.
