Get Your Fight Back – Part 4

A victor’s attitude is one of the great keys to victory.

1 Timothy 6:12 – Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

I want to share the words of a song with you today.  It is a song from several years ago that so ministered to me a strengthened attitude toward victory that I never forgot it.  I still sing it to myself often, especially when facing a battle.  I first heard it sung by Kenneth Copeland, and it is strong.  Read the following lyrics closely.  Here are verses one, two, and three, and the chorus in that order.  It says,

I cannot be defeated, and I will not quit

Redeemed by the blood of Jesus, I’ve been loosed from Satan’s pit

I cannot be defeated, I’m saved, I’m healed, I’m free

When they nailed Jesus to that old cross, the devil danced around with glee

He thought he had the children of God and would take them and throw them in a fiery sea

But then on the third day the stone was rolled away, and the angel said “Mary, go and tall.”

“The Son of God has risen, hallelujah!  Jesus is alive and well

Go tell the king and the president’s men, the coming of the Lord is nigh

You better get your houses in order, He going to split the eastern sky

Get the message out to the people, tell them while there’s time to tell

The Son of God is coming, hallelujah!  Jesus is alive and well

Jesus is alive and well; Jesus is alive and well

Tell everyone you see, tell them for me; Jesus is alive and well

He’s seated with His heavenly Father, interceding for you and me

Tell everyone you see, tell them for me; Jesus is alive and well

My friend, this is an attitude adjusting song.  You may not know the tune, but you can surely read the words.  Jesus is alive and well.  He has given us His faith; authored and finished by Himself; and it is the victory that overcomes this world.  It is His faith.  He has given us His armor.  Take the time to feed yourself on the Word and grow your faith muscle  Pray in the Spirit and build up your faith muscle.  Stand erect with a victor’s attitude and put on the whole armor of God!  Now, look into the mirror of the Word and tell me who you resemble.  If you’re viewing with the eyes of faith, you must admit, you carry a strong family resemblance to your Elder Brother.  If that doesn’t create an attitude adjustment for you, I’m not sure what can.
