When we learn and accept that God’s will is ALWAYS the best, decisions are so much easier.
Text for Today – Isaiah 55:11 – . . . My Word . . . shall accomplish that which I please, and prosper in the thing whereunto I sent it.
Please take a moment to read the fullness of our Text for Today for yourself. It is so very inspiring. The full integrity of God rests on the truthfulness of this verse. The Lord Himself says His Word WILL accomplish what He pleases. But read the preceding phrase. It is NEVER His will for His Word to return void. In fact, He said, “it shall NOT return to Me void.” It is established as a law of the Spirit. If God said it, that settles it. And in this case, He settled in based on His Own Word and personal ability to bring it to pass.
Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent His Word and healed . . . and delivered.” Mark 4 declares His Word should produce at least 30-fold. Think of the millions who have heard His Word and rejected it. That in NO way lessens the truth of Isaiah 55:11. His Word that Satan has stolen from unprepared ground will not return void. His Word that some have allowed to wither will not return void. His Word that has been choked in so many lives will not return void.
Ultimately, His Word will accomplish what He pleases and “prosper in the thing” He sent it to do. All of His Word! All He has spoken to generations, through centuries and millennia of time! It WILL ALL be fulfilled! The church will see it before Jesus comes. The very integrity of God rests on His Word, and He will “hasten” His Word to “perform it.”
And as a final not to you; take God at His Word, and believe Him for ALL He says; NOT ONE DROP LESS! I urge you, I plead with you, I exhort you, I command you in the Name of Jesus, not for the sake of authority or power, but for the sake of His love, I command you in the Name of Jesus, take hold of ALL of God’s Word, believe ALL of God’s Word, fill your spirit man with ALL of God’s Word, and live ALL of God’s Word. We, the Church, the body of Christ, have not yet grown up to the fullness of the measure of the stature of our Christ. Surely, the best is yet to come, for His Word shall not return to Him void, but shall accomplish that which He pleases, and prosper in the thing whereunto He sent it. Selah!
