Three Days in Your Life – 3
Text for Today – Mark 11:24 – Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
I’m sure you already know what follows yesterday and today. Of course, it is tomorrow. By now you should also know some of the requirements you must fulfill in order to achieve your tomorrow. But just what do you want you tomorrow to be?
First of all, you should decide that question. Your preparation for tomorrow includes scheduling and planning. Likewise,, it includes dreaming and believing. And it includes prayer and the confession of your faith.
For instance, if you expect to go fishing tomorrow, don’t you think it would be wise to have the proper equipment? If you’re employed, wouldn’t it be good to make sure you have the day off with your employer’s blessing? And do you have your fishing license, if needed? What am I saying? Simply this; tomorrow won’t just happen. It’s arrival, tenure, and level of success is largely dependent upon you and your planning.
Think about this. Some of the highest paid professions in our world are doctors, dentists, and attorneys. You don’t just drop in on any of those folks. You need an appointment. Whose time is more important to you? Yours or your doctor’s? Yours or your dentist’s? Yours of your attorney’s? Without a doubt, to you, your own time is more important. If you make appointments with them, should you not make appointments with yourself for your tomorrow?
Just how important is your future to you personally? Here are some suggestions for you. Plan for your tomorrow. Plan for you to be in your tomorrow. Dress for the occasion. Show up on time. And finally, be sure to take Jesus with you every step of the way. He is, after all, your Counselor (Attorney). So, be sure to follow His directions at all times.
