Have You Heard?

Today, let me feed your faith a megadose of life.

Text for Today – Mark 5:27 – When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

Our Text for Today comes from the story of the woman with the issue of blood.  When shecame and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she was made perfectly whole.  She had heard about Jesus.  She had heard about His power and about His works, and she believed His power could do the same for her. She believed it so strongly that she said it with her mouth.  She said, “If I may but touch . . .”

How about you?  Have you heard?  Jesus is still Lord.  He has NOT changed.  He is still the Healer, the Deliver, the Provider, and the Protector.  He is still on the right hand of the Father where He ever lives to make intercession for His saints.  He is still the Lord Advocate General of the Church of the First Born from the dead.  Have you heard?

The Roman centurion so trusted Him that he said, “Speak the Word only and my servant shall be healed.”  Have you heard?  His Word still works.  His Word that comes forth from His mouth will accompany to completion all He said, and prosper abundantly in everything He sends that Word to do.  His Word will produce faith, light for your path, deposit healing and health in your body, and deliverance for your whole person.  His Word, released in faith, as the parent-creator-force of this universe and all that in it is, still holds that same creative power.  Have you heard?

I heard, I believed, I spoke, and I acted upon my profession of faith.  The result: I’m born again, Spirit-filled, healthy, prosperous, victorious, surrounded with favor as with a shield, finding favor in the eyes of all with whom I must deal, and even my enemies have to be at peace with me.  And you can live the same way.  Have you heard?

God has a plan for your life, a plan for good and not for evil, to give you an expected end.  God has made you the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, a lender to many, and not a borrower.  God has raised you up and made to sit together with Jesus in heavenly places, far above all principalities, powers, mights, and dominions, and every name that is named in heaven, earth, and under the earth.  God has designed you to have dominion, for you to know His will in this earth just like it is in heaven, and for you to live in this earth as He is now.  Oh, and you can find all I’ve told you in His Word.  Have you heard?  Now you have!
